Injection Therapy

Injection therapy is the use of medicines, and other selected products, by physiotherapists, which are administered by injection to intra- and extra-articular tissues and joint spaces. Common conditions that may benefit from injection therapy are inflammatory pathologies such as arthritis, tendonitis and bursitis.

Dave Kershaw and David Pardey have extensive experience of administering steroid injections with excellent results most commonly for shoulder and hip pain.  We will liaise closely with your GP who will be able to prescribe the specific medication prior to your appointment,

Following an injection, we recommend only light use of the area for 48 hours – a full post injection protocol will be issued to you at the time of the injection.

Recent Testimonial

“After my shoulder surgery it was Dave that devised, monitored and developed my final stage shoulder strengthening and rehabilitation program, and also overlooked my return to playing. Back in 2007 Dave spent time ensuring I maintained my shoulder strengthening program and I am sure that his expertise has assisted in enabling me to maintain my fitness and ultimately allow me to claim my 700th test wicket against Bangladesh in July 2007. I would recommend Dave to anyone requiring physiotherapy.
