Dave Kershaw

Physiotherapist, Managing Director

Dave qualified in Physiotherapy at the University of East Anglia in 2001 having already completed a degree in Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Surrey in 1998. He has recently returned to the clinics from his post in the Caribbean where he was Head Physio for West Indies Cricket, a position which allowed him to diagnose, treat and support the rehabilitation of world class players including Chris Gayle, Andre Russell and Shai Hope. Prior to this he held many prestigious positions in the elite sporting arena including Head Physiotherapist for Lancashire County Cricket Club and Oldham Athletic Football Club and Consultant Physiotherapist for Bristol City FC. Dave started his career at the Centre of Sporting Excellence at Bath University working with Commonwealth and Olympic athletes and has also worked for the English Cricket Board. By working in these sporting environments and treating the likes of Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff, James “Jimmy” Anderson and Muttiah Muralitharan, Dave has developed specialist expertise in the treatment and rehabilitation of spinal, shoulder, knee and ankle disorders.

Alongside his training and experience from the world of professional sport, Dave has personal sporting interests and accolades most notably having competed in National swimming competitions, representing Harlequins RFC and running many half and full marathons. He has also completed an Ironman in less than 12 hours which is quite an achievement!

Chris Barry

Practice and Clinical Lead – BSc, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Chris graduated from the University of East London in 2017 with a Degree in Physiotherapy. This was after completing a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Chichester. Immediately after completing his degree in Physiotherapy he started to work as a Rotational Physiotherapist for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust, starting on inpatient rehabilitation for 6 months and moving onto MSK outpatients as a Band 6.

Since then Chris has worked both privately and within Nuffield Health sticking to his passion of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy but also helping out within the community and hospital settings during the COVID outbreak. He continues to develop his expertise and knowledge to best help his patients return to full function and achieve their goals. He has a passion for using a wide variety of treatments techniques in order to assist patients through their rehab journey and is constantly keeping up to date with latest research and evidence based Physiotherapy practise.

Chris enjoys volunteering at various sporting events within the UK most notably the World Athletics Championships and the London Marathon, where he has been part of the medical team on race day assisting runners with injuries.

He is a keen sportsman and likes to keep himself fit and active. He was Kick Boxing national champion in 2013, was a finisher in the London Marathon 2022 and regularly plays football. In his spare-time he likes to listen to music, go to live gigs and socialise with family and friends.

David Pardey

MSc, BSc (Hons), PgCert, MCSP, HCPC Registered

David qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2002 from the University of the West of England, Bristol and has worked either in the National Health Service or private practice continually for over 20 years treating various traumatic, orthopaedic and sports related conditions.

Special interest groups:

Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)

Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT)

Most recently, David worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist for 7 years within a Spinal and Musculoskeletal Assessment Service, assessing and treating many challenging cases, working closely with GPs, orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management consultants.  This experience has given him considerable knowledge and expertise in many complex back and neck conditions.

David has gained many postgraduate qualifications, including a postgraduate certificate in supplementary prescribing and is qualified to perform soft tissue and joint cortisone injection therapy.   He is also fully qualified to perform acupuncture, which he finds can be a hugely beneficial adjunct to the more traditional manual and exercise therapies.

In his spare time David enjoys sports and has a keen love for animals, having gained a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy with distinction, from the University of the West of England, Bristol.

Gianmarco Trovè

BSc, MHCPC, MCSP, MAACP
Special interest groups:

Gianmarco graduated in Physiotherapy in 2013 at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” in Italy and won a scholarship with EURES performing a professional traineeship in Portugal on the field of the sportive rehabilitation. 

He has expanded his knowledge by completing different courses about myofascial disorders, sports injuries and postural disorders management, Kinesio-taping and in parallel working for 4 years in an outpatient clinic with waste range of clients as orthopedic, post-surgical, neuromotor, geriatric and lymphatic rehabilitation. 

In 2018 Gianmarco started a new adventure in the UK and quickly developed his knowledge further working alongside medico-legal companies dealing and treating injuries like whiplashes or low back pain from road traffic accidents. 

He gained experience in occupational therapy working in the medical team of Mars Chocolate factory handling ergonomic assessment of the office spaces and treating postural syndromes related to the sedentary desk-based jobs. 

Gianmarco was a professional volleyball player before starting his career as a physiotherapist.  This sporting experience has enabled him to incorporate his personal experiences within his treatment plan and he particularly enjoys working on shoulders and the demands that all sports place on the joint. Gianmarco still plays volleyball in his spare time and also enjoys travelling due to his interest in different cultures, languages, traditions and music.

Sasha Sadheura

MSc, BSc (Hons), MMACP, MAACP, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist with a first-class honours degree, Sasha has pursued her passion of working within the Musculoskeletal setting, treating a wide variety of conditions. Sasha is a highly skilled physiotherapist, with an evidence-based clinical approach and tailors her treatments to suit each individual to help them achieve their goals. She is a positive person and is committed to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.

Sasha has a Master of Science degree in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. This has given her a broad knowledge base and expertise in advanced clinical assessment and diagnosis, as well as hands-on manual therapy skills. Sasha has completed several courses to broaden her skills and further explore the spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to this she has developed particular interests in the fields of women’s health and spinal disorders.

Sasha is qualified in acupuncture and finds this a useful tool as part of her treatments and to help with pain management. She is currently training with the APPI to become a Pilates instructor.

In her spare time Sasha enjoys cooking, dancing and keeping active.

Rupali Pawar

BSc, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Rupali graduated from V.S.P. M’S College of Physiotherapy India acquiring a Bachelors of Physiotherapy. She did Masters of Physiotherapy from D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, India, in General and Community Based Rehabilitation. Rupali is a skilled and experienced in treating Musculoskeletal conditions. Treatments usually involve manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and electrotherapy to help individuals to improve their quality of life.

She has completed post-graduation in Geriatrics and Women’s Health.

She believes that patient is her first priority when it comes to rehabilitation process. She is good listener and treats every patient with an individual and holistic approach.

In her  spare time Rupali enjoys travelling, cooking and dancing.

Over the years I have developed a keen interest in the management and rehab of a wide range of Musculoskeletal conditions, running an ACL rehab class and supervising students as well as junior Physios. Post University I have qualified as an ITEC level 3 sports massage therapist at the University of Brunel and I continue to attend courses and training outside of my working hours.

I am currently working on progressing towards becoming a Band 7 clinical specialist in either spinal or peripheral joints still within the NHS as well as improving my knowledge and experience within the private sector aiming to become qualified in acupuncture.

I’ve been very fortunate to be part of the medical team at the 2017 World Athletic Championships and many London Marathons working with a wide variety of healthcare professionals and volunteers as well as some pretty high profile athletes.

In my spare time I like to listen to music, go to the gym, swim and kick box. I also play the drums and I am massive fan of the band Queen.

Hannah Hyland

BSc, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Hannah is a Physiotherapist with additional training as an Otago Balance and Falls Prevention teacher. She has over 15 years’ experience working as a physiotherapist in the UK and overseas. Her passion is working with movement and injury restoration to achieve functional goals amongst the musculoskeletal, spinal injured, neurological and ageing population. 

 

She teaches a ‘Physio moves’ class which is an inclusive community class for all levels of ability. She utilises skills from her own yoga practice and pregnancy (Birthlight) Yoga Teacher Training as well as physiotherapy techniques to support movement progression in her treatment sessions and the classes.

 

In her spare time Hannah qualified as yoga and surf Instructor. She loves adventures, cycling, water sports and moving in nature (especially her allotment!)

Andrew White

MSc, BSc, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Andrew graduated from the University of Saskatchewan college of Kinesiology in 2016. During his study he worked with obese children and their families helping them to live healthier lifestyles. He also volunteered with a local physiotherapy clinic training junior Olympians and Paralympians for team Canada. After graduation Andrew used his kinesiology degree to work as a clinical exercise physiologist in Canada treating musculoskeletal conditions and those with chronic long term conditions. Andrew developed a special interest in return to work rehabilitation after completing a diploma in ergonomics at the University of Fredericton and later began a business as an ergonomist performing work place risk assessments.

In 2021 he graduated from the masters physiotherapy program at Oxford-Brookes University. During this time he had an opportunity to work as a therapist on an acute stroke ward treating paralysis and cognitive dysfunction. As a student at Oxford-Brookes Andrew had the opportunity to work with a professional sports team and on an acute COVID-19 ward at the height of the pandemic.

Andrew has taken continuing education specific to back pain rehabilitation and uses exercise therapy and education to help people who have been coping with back pain for extended periods return to their previous level of activity.

When not working Andrew likes to play guitar and lacrosse on the weekends.

Thamilarasi

BSc, MCSP & HCPC Registered

Thamilarasi has been practicing physiotherapy since 2006 after graduating from Chennai, India.

She is a committed and caring practitioner who is passionate about providing bespoke therapy plans according to the needs of each patient. She has a friendly approach which puts patients at their ease during the assessment and whilst in her care. Thamilarasi gains an immense satisfaction from seeing the positive impact physiotherapy treatment has on her patients.

As well as physiotherapy, Thamilarasi is a qualified ayurvedic practitioner and is working towards gaining a qualification in nutrition. Thamilarasi loves spending time with her family and cooking delicious vegan food
